Patrons and staff celebrated with a song and a slice of birthday cake to mark the Donut Gallery’s 50th anniversary Saturday. The narrow eatery has been serving hearty breakfasts due to the resolve of the Zambrano family, which hails from Cuba.
As a special treat, customers were finally able to enjoy doughnuts, which normally aren’t on the menu.
