Ken Russell is on the ballot in the Aug. 23 primary for the U.S. House seat covering Miami and Key Biscayne. But as a City of Miami commissioner ending his term, he’s been involved in many big issues that have caused tensions between the neighboring communities, including events like the Ultra Music Festival and the Boat show.

And in the future, there’s the city’s role as a stakeholder in the Rickenbacker Causeway’s future. We ask him about these issues and what his priorities would be if elected.
